Creating healthy buildings through elegant design

About Us

Open House Architecture was founded by John McSeveney to combine his twin passions of quality design and wellness. Our goal is to provide detailed, comprehensive design solutions which enhance our clients’ lives physically, emotionally and mentally.

Drawing on a variety of inspirations, from historic buildings to the latest neuroscience, we will work with you to produce designs tailored to your needs.

Our Approach

Listening:

We want to hear about your needs and aspirations. Our first step working with clients is to listen and understand how their daily lives operate and how they want this altered or enhanced.

Refining:

We know our clients have busy lives, so we look to refine and simplify our designs wherever possible. Where complexity is required, our job is to ensure that it is a considered and harmonious part of the whole.

Crafting:

The selection of the right materials and their appropriate application is paramount to the success of any design. We pride ourselves on crafting a project rather than merely assembling a list of items. We work with specially selected tradespeople to ensure our clients’ designs can be delivered to a high standard.
